Needs Analysis Tools Available
According to a LIMRA study, too many people today are under insured and life insurance ownership continues to decline. Nearly 1/3 of all women and more than 1/4 of all men have no life insurance at all.
To support our strong advocacy for meeting the need for life insurance among the middle market, Genworth is pleased to provide a fundamental needs analysis tool for brokers. Our calculator, "How Much Life Insurance Do You Need?" is available at the Genworth Advanced Marketing Resource Center. You can reach the Genworth Advanced Marketing Resource Center from the Advanced Marketing page of the Brokerage Unlimited Web Site. Once you reach the Genworth site, Click on "I Agree", then "Case Design", then "Calculators". Down the list you will see the "How Much Life Insurance is Needed" calculator tool.
In addition to the calculation tool, Genworth offers a corresponding factfinder that helps you gather the important and necessary information about the client to help estimate their life insurance needs. The factfinder can be emailed as a PDF document and printed for easy use. Each section of the factfinder has been structured to match the input fields on the calculator tool, providing for easy transfer of the data.
The end result is a printable, consumer friendly report summarizing the client's current assets, estimated expenses at the death of the breadwinner, and their potential life insurance shortfall.
